I have a friend named Jeremy who is going into the army and for some reason I always think of him when this song plays... I like to think of him as a little kid who just wanted his dads attention but his dad was stern with him because his father was an army too and he just wanted affection and attention. He was a little runt and one day he showed what he had inside when he punched Eddie in the face.. but in my friend Jeremy's case when he goes into the army. If this makes any sense lol. |

Whenever I hear this song I think about my mom and dad and how my father abused my mother (both physically and verbally from what I know.) My mom did leave my dad a little after I was born but they were both teenagers and it was a shame she even stuck around with him that long. So when I hear this song it reminds me of my mom and dad's relationship.

Whenever I hear this song I think of my mom when she was with my dad because my dad abused her (physically and verbally from what I know.) So this song to me reminds me of when my mom was with my dad and she didn't leave (but in this case it was because she was a teenager and was pregnant with me.) But also because she couldn't find a better man... even though she did lol. |
