I'm surprised no one's commented on the obvious typo in the lyrics. "Well I sure'll let you in You know I'll you in" ??? Sure'll isn't even close to a real word. There's no way it's anything other than "Well I swear I'll let you in". Take a listen. And the "let" is missing from the "You know I'll let you in" This was probably my least favorite Metro Station song, but after seeing this grand discussion about it being about a cat (although I imagine the original poster was just joking) I laughed out loud the next time I heard the song. A++ for creative thinking, friends. |
