this was the first immortal technique song iever heard. a guy introduced it to me, simply sent it to me and told me this is how he felt about me. he said i'm "the kind of girl guys make rap songs about" i asked him what he meant by that and he sent me this song. he told me this song described my entire self being. the moment the song finished i burst into tears. as a few years have now passed, i've become a major supporter of his music, and now completely obsessed with underground hip hop. but this was the song that started it all. hearing this changed my life drastically. introduced me to his amazing talent. i am forever thankful. |

so the album name is "the martyr". and martyr= a person who willingly suffers death rather than renounce his/her beliefs. and at the end of this (which i might consider a purging of his revolutionary views/beliefs) there are gunshots directed towards him... i'm just wondering if this has any future significance. is this maybe a sign that he's said too much already through his music, and his time is up? illum. is gonna get him? idk.. just my thoughts. (afterall.. that's what supposedly happened to tupac) i'd fucking cry for days if something was ever to happen to him. God forbid |
