this comment alone makes me never want to sign on to this website ever again. are you fucking kidding me? the fucking idiots who comment on this shit need to go back to first grade. their break up had NOTHING to do with sales prices. anyone who would believe that about any band needs to literally go through k-12 again. wow. i cant even. not gunna explain how bands and sales prices work on this forum. this song has no hidden meaning. it says it like it is in the title alone. he loves new york as a city but it can be depressing at time and can overwhelm you and take a hold of your state of mind. plain and simple. simple/beautiful and sad. |

| this song is very sad. to me it seems as if he has been chasing the same girl for awhile and she never loves him back the way he loves her. or she is never really present in the relationship but he keeps holding on. then this probably has been repeated with several girlfriends who always take him for granted. very simple beautiful song. | |
