No matter how hard I listen, it sounds like "HER rival" rather than "MY rival" and "Led A celibate life" rather than "Led NO celibate life". Those two words drastically change the meaning of the song. I think the character this song is directed to is male, possibly even the narrator talking to himself. Chasing skirt means looking for female company, so "no skirt" would mean that the character in this song is leading a celibate life. In this case I would have to assume it's involuntary celibacy. The "chemicals" are most likely hormones. |
