| Beautiful song... He's definitely trying to find his Shangri la. Which is a metaphor for a utopia, love, or kind of a perfect dream. His dream being impossibly perfect but he still but he's not asking for much exept for not waking up alone. He realizes when he closes his eyes, the sky is red. A red sky being different from blue kinda says he's in a different place residing in his dreams. But enough of that I could go on forever. I'm just gunna listen to it now. | |

Well this album to me seems like Oasis was trying to make all there songs more personal. I can see a lot in this song. I can somewhat see a few drug refrences but mostly what I got from it was putting your hee-bee-jee-bees in a hidden bag, meaning putting aside your fears,worries, negitive attitude away "hiding" them, Laying your love on the fire, to me is saying hard to word it but to be fearless and focus in on what makes you feel good, Love in this case. Basically saying to take risks and just throw your love out there for someone to grab it. Tell me what you desire and bag it up,high. keeping what you want using a bag again but no use of the word hidden showing how you want to Access this. Just my thoughts on the corus I don't feel like writing lots but this song is just jammed packed with what could be endless possibilities to the meaning of this song. |

To me this is about I wouldn't say pulling someone away from others but wanting to get close to someone but are not able to due to always being with others. I can really connect to this song and pretty sure I got the meaning down all the lyrics fit. Hate to say you're surrounded by clowns Looks to me, they've had their day Think it's time that you came out and played Showing he want's to bring this person away from the people considered to be clowns. won't waste your time saying he won't disappoint her. changing don't waste your time. with said clowns Give it a try meaning come with me instead. not the best explaining but I think I got it |
