State Radio – As With Gladness Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is most certainly not about A Christmas Carol. Moron. Duke Banks got it right.

Dispatch – Hey, Hey Lyrics 14 years ago
I think that like a lot of dispatch songs this one is open to personal interpretation. They didn't make it with any one exact specific meaning, but in a broader sense so that more people can connect with it. I don't think it's necessarily about an ex, but about an infatuation. But that's just my interpretation.

Dispatch – Here We Go Lyrics 14 years ago
I personally am offended by the comparison to the red hot chili peppers, because dispatch is so much ridiculously better than them. The live version on All Points Bulletin is so damn good, the saxophone is so fantastic. If you think the version on Bang Bang makes you want to dance listen to the live one.

Dispatch – Steeples Lyrics 14 years ago
I would just like to say that i don't really understand this song, but gregg and anyone who agrees with him is damn stupid. Yes Dispatch is very spiritual, but being spiritual doesn't mean you believe or follow an established religion. It means that you are open to and searching for the answers to who, what and why we're here. Just because Dispatch has "God" or "Oh Lord" in their lyrics doesn't mean their christian.

State Radio – Adelaide Lyrics 14 years ago
Someone got confused. This isn't a State Radio song, it's a Chadwick Stokes song from the album Simmerkane II.

State Radio – Sybil II Lyrics 14 years ago
I've wanted to see the lyrics to this song for a long time, and am glad that i found them. A lot was cleared up. But upon close comparison. The line she belies the tallest set of deaths, is actually "she belies the tallest citadel". That said, i find Sybil II to be a much catchier song than Sybil I.

State Radio – Gang of Thieves Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is about the war in Iraq. The "evil liberator" almost certainly is Bush. A neocon is a conservative who used to be a liberal or a socialist, so the line "we got bombs and they got barrels of gasoline" isn't a narrative on oil being as influential as bombs, but more a call to arms. We've got bombs and the Gang of Thieves has gasoline. It's a call to arms. Great song.
