| The church was pretty much like Jesus' home while he was on Earth, if that makes any sense. And calling the church his Bride would be like saying they are one, essentially. I think this song is about worshiping God, and being in his presence. In the beginning of this song it says "My hands are searching for you My arms are outstretched towards you I feel you on my fingertips My tongue dances behind my lips for you This fire rising through my being Burning I'm not used to seeing you" That is exactly what I do when I worship, I raise my hands and when I'm in his presence I feel like he goes from my fingertips all the way through my body. (I do realize that sounds weird; but it's true.) And yeah the tongue part would be her singing or speaking tongues. |
