| So a serpentine is winding and twisting and constantly moving -- changing how it moves or is perceived. I feel it is saying that shes constantly different and is never the same, as most of us all are. Dont judge and call names just live in the moment. No prejudgements -- and you cant touch her because she doesnt give a fuck. You can say these things but we are constantly winding and changing and maybe we did something in the past or for example had a certain hairdo or slept with someone or did something crazy. But that is not who makes us - and whatever, if you do something, theres nothing u can do about really, but constantly move and shake it off - wether good or bad. The things you do are not who you are, they are experiences in your life. It is not what defines your being. As she sings this in the music video her body is moving and winding to the beat of the music, like when she says 'i dont give a fuck if ur callin me, i dont give a fuck if ur maulin me" its like she is shaking or dancing these negative thoughts off of her - "brushin the dirt off her shoulders" and livin the the moment. She is also stripping her clothes off and revealing a new outfit every time, could be like her stripping of that persona of her and changing that part of her, while constantly moving to the beat. good way to think if i do say so myself. thats just my perception at the moment. sorry if its a bunch of mumbo jumbo but i felt the urge to share. :) | |
