I heard this song for the first time today. I know it is a few years old, but wow... I can definitely relate to the girl in this song. I've been there before. I agree with EveryEmotion's interpretation. It's about a girl who thrives on the attention of men, and they don't need her, but she is addicted to their attention. Even though it isn't necessarily positive attention, it's better than nothing. She's stuck in the vicious cycle. People try to help her, but she thinks they are fake and insincere. |
