hmm i its hard to tell for us too. I has "Grand", like big or great, "Pappy", which i dont know, like poppa or dad? "Du", uh.....do i guess, and "plenty", like a lot. The actually meaning of the whole song i dont know, but i know what it means to me. For me, i found this song when i was in a time of great stress and depression (my first year of college) Now it sort-of represents lost friends and that whole time period. I love playing it by myself because i am reminded of those times and memories, and to keep me on the straight path and not let other, nonsensical, useless people, ideas, and things keep me down. |
