I actually agree with you. When I first heard the song, I thought it was exactly how you described it. Reminded me of someone I know, who is leaving for the Marines. He's a Superman to me, and positive and caring things will be here when he returns back home. But I read others' posts about how it about some guy who leaves her hanging and such. I can see why it'd be taken that way, buuut I prefer the happier interpretation. For the "superman" figure to be a positive one seems to make more sense. I'm with you on this one. :) |
