i think the song is trying to interpret a relationship were the guy hates the girl bcoz she's holding him without really trying to hold him (he loves her too much)..so he keeps pushing and pushing her even though he loves her and the girl knows it so shes trying to keep the relationship together/ chasing after him(You only know what I want you to I know everything you don't want me to)..so tired of being that other part of the relationship/ the one chasing the other person.. she let him go(I wish you'd hold me when I turn my back) (I don't love you but I always will) bcoz now theyre both pretending that they dont love the other person when they know in their hearts they always will love them..such a sad beautiful love song.. |

dude, pls tell me ur kidding coz if not. ur interpretation is too literal no offense..and i signed up just to be able to post this lol.. anyway for me i think this song saying about an unexpected love..something that you cant control it just happen and she/he got a hold of you and you cant seem to do anything about it..(Blow by blow, I didn't see it coming Blow by blow, sucker punch) ..to simply put it its like youre having a great time with a friend just being friends but one day you start to feel it leading to something more in ur part and even though you try to resist what you feel about him/her you cant do anything about it (What rushes into my heart and my skull, I can’t control Think about it, feel it in my bones What rushes into my heart and my skull, I can’t control ) the only part im a little confused is part (I take a breath, take a breath with me blow by blow I take a break, take a break, tell me you are here to stay I take my heart out of my chest, I just don’t need it anymore Take my head out of the game, I just don’t need it anymore) im not sure if it means she dont want to feel and think that way or did sh means shes taking her heart out to give it to the other person metaphorically.. |
