Simple, really. About a guy who's being used. "not a companion but some pages in her journal" plus the reference to her making a coat out of him. "She's always cold despite the weather", could just be saying she has a cold personality, but I'd take it even further; I think it's a metaphor for her being a vampire/succubus based on the next lines: "she needs sun, she's so pale" Vampires are always cold, they never go out in the sun, and they're pale. She's a vampire because she's sucking the life out of him by using him. |
