corey has openly admitted to recording some songs for his bands in the booth cutting and puking on himself..but no the song is emotional trauma from never knowing his father and only hearing horror stories of his father. Some of the scars were emotional ones from his father. But the majority are scars caused by other people who said horrible things about his father. all he had heard before he met his dad was he was trash. Eyel e Ss by Slipknot has a line also referencing his pain caused by his dad walking out before he knew him. "i am my father's son cus he's a phantom of mystery and that leaves me nothing". just my two cents don't rage over me i'm a huge fan of corey's band and SlipKnoT. But in the end only the write of the song will know every meaning to every word in the song we only get the main idea. |
