| Death Cab for Cutie – Some Boys Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I agree with almost everything you said except the last bit-I think the boys who "don't know how to love" are actually all of the four types formally listed. That's the point of the song...all of these boys are searching for love in various ways, but aren't finding it because they don't know how. They all have their own flaws, but in the end, it all comes back to their inability to love. | |

| I absolutely love the line "a sigh digs you out when you're getting too deep". It kind of reminds of that moment when you're talking about something really in depth and you reach a point that your sentiment transcends words-and all you can do is just sigh. I have a hard time figuring out what the middle section means in the context of the song, considering the fact the beginning and end seem to express poignant sentiments ("you are beyond"...anything else, better than anything). It almost seems as if the sweetness of the song is cloaking a deeper sense of shame and even urgency. | |

| the "its" on "it's on its head" shouldn't have an apostrophe. | |
| First Aid Kit – Winter Is All Over You Lyrics | 14 years ago |

I adore this song. I think it's about someone who's been left and pines after their lover. The seasons bring floods of nostalgia, winter especially. The person who left may have been in a search to find themselves and discover the world-without the help of the speaker, as demonstrated in the quote, "the eiffel tower, the marching band but i'm sure you wouldn't understand" it seems like the speaker doesn't really understand and feels only the pain of their love's leaving and hope of their return. |
