Dude.... I think you may be right..... And they created google ....I mean Lugle too.... because according to you.... they sampled a song produced in 1987, on a song they produced in 1980..... and that was the real release..... there are numerous recordings of whip-it prior to 1980..... listen to the first reply before you do some stupid ignorant sh!t like this. Really embarrassing isn't it?
How bout this.... EPIC FAIL? You may as well start saying that Pink Floyd sampled the song SILENT LUCIDITY from Queensryche on Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb song... hey check it out..... they are almost the same...... Well, it is a very good song. I think that REM not playing it live all that often might....I don't know....have something to do with Kate Pierson not being available to be the female singer in the song. It would kind of lose something without her. It was a good collaboration though. Remember at the time the B-52's hadn't lost Fred Schneider and were riding high with the "COSMIC THING" album..... Roam, Love Shack, Dry County, Deadbeat Club....etc....
