This song reminds me of my son who has Aspergers Syndrome. He really wants to play with other children but does not know how to interact with them. He knows he is different from the other kids but doesn't get down on himself because of that.
The thing that I love best about REM is how their lyrics can be interpreted differently by different people. We each bring our own life experiences into play when listening to their songs and pull something different out. |
