never thought of the line "smashing nobody's headlights". i used to raise hell and of course didn't think anything belonged to anyone. in fact my motto was "everything is mine or it's nobody's". as for the quicklime, there is a plant substance called "bird lime" that attracts birds and is very sticky. i think it's used to catch birds in south america and could be some sort of treesap. there ya go, 8 years late. |

could be about killing himself. i think the pictures of trickery refers to robert smith smiling and acting like a father and husband in family photographs. the stains on the carpet go along with the party theme and sex with someone besides his wife and leaving there fluids everywhere.
i think there's some part of the bible that says it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven. i think it's a metaphor for how impossible it will be for him to recover from the guilt and years of lies and faking and cheating. dunno for sure because i'm not robert smith. although i used to dress like him and wear make-up and flat iron my hair all crazy like. |
