| The Fray – Run For Your Life Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| There are a few references to fire in this song: "this house is on fire", "she had a fire inside", "leave all that's burned behind". May not mean anything, but I feel this has some symbolic meaning... | |

I am going to interpret this song the way it relates to me, just because I really feel a connection to this song. I interpret this song as a boy in love with a girl that is closed off from everyone else. The first stanza is describing this intimate moment with this girl, describing his love by saying, "let the water fall on the flame, it's not burning out." Although they had an intimate moment, magical in his eyes, the third stanza tells of the girl. "She's in a town that holds a lonely road." She holds no intimate relationships, she has a heavy heart. She has isolated herself from the world. She has closed off her heart from everyone else ( "can she hear my heart coming through on the door between") The fifth stanza is just him saying he will continue to try and get through to her. Even if he fails in his attempts, he will not give up on her because she is "what I never knew I needed." The chorus of the song is just him reassuring her. "I'll keep you warm, dancing in the downpour." He will protect her and love her through all the hard times. He is just telling her to free herself from this prison she created for herself, she will be safe in his arms. This is my interpretation. I am currently going through a situation like this. I could be wrong because I see this song through my experience. But this is how I connected with the song. |

| Lifehouse – Between the Raindrops Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I imagine an elder couple still holding on and still in love. They have gone through the rough (between the raindrops) but made it out together and still in love (off into the sunset). They have been through it all, spending their lives together. Love this song. Beautiful song :) | |
| Mumford & Sons – Below My Feet Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This song is about hitting rock bottom and all you see is darkness. So you beg to God to show you the light, give you strength to move. | |
| Mumford & Sons – Broken Crown Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This song is is anger uprooted from pain. It is about setting your foot down and not letting someone hurt you any longer. Enough is enough. Cannot temp me unless I choose to be temped. It is about gaining control over a powerful person that has a hold of you. | |
