I so agree w ur meaning of this song except for a few notes(hehe) The metaphor itself almost seems inadequate when he states “Summer days, winter snow, she’s all things to behold...”, It's totally adequate...the seasons are totally opposites...in times of high & low, bad & good she's the one thing to hold onto. She is his rock. He's totally satisfied and realizes this. She's always gonna be there for him. It rains in all seasons. “So I wait, and I try, I confess like a child...” showing himself to be helpless and lost. Absolutely not.."So I wait" means he's not going anywhere...he will never leave her. "I confess like a child" means he's always gonna be honest w her maybe not right away hence "like water in a jar" Remember it rains in all seasons :) |
