This was one of the first songs I shared with my girlfriend two years ago when we started dating. We were so deeply in love for a couple of "high school sweethearts" and we went through so much during the two-and-a-half years of our relationship. I once told her that I wanted to wake up every morning with her beside me; I wanted her to be the first thing I saw every day. I even told her, "The thing I look the most forward to in my life is just laying in bed each morning and watching you get ready for the day." We broke up a couple of months ago and now she has a new boyfriend. I hope that she will be happy with him now that she can no longer be happy with me.
