Three Days Grace – Never Too Late Lyrics 10 years ago
Ok for me this takes into account a lot of others have stated. I don't think it is debated on wether she was a drug addict/suicidal as it is both clearly stated within the video and or lyrics....

But... i strongly feel what a lot of people seem to miss is the parents.
Who at first look like a happy family, but as another man comes into the scene seems to defile the child....more clearly shown towards the end with black hand prints.

So yes, she has been molested, could be a representation of the inner child and society or even a literal childhood trauma. Either one still leads to X, which is a possible suicide attempt and institutionalization.

now back to the parents who still seem to be dancing as if nothing is happening, this time focusing on their eyes, bandaged thus unable to see the truth. Still dancing with the idea that things are ok.

I think the parents again are still alive and yes forcing the child into the institution. While there are two things going through my mind.
A) They are too blind to see what society did and not willing to work things out.
B) In fact someone the parents trusted did "corrupt" the child, causing that spiral in the child's otherwise happy dynamic, and they blame the child...unwilling to see what happened.

I think that latter option is scarier as it is a perfect example of victim blaming, but with a few other users have stated that Adam had a friend that talked about this depression and thus doesn't support that theory, but supports the former.

But in the end it is always up to the listener

@[sadieRawwr:90] that usually means he's emotional if you wear your heart on your sleeve, not necessarily meaning you spoke your mind.

Rammstein – Du Riechst So Gut (English) Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is about stalking and rape. The music video is little red riding hood, which has under currents of what the song means.

The red of her cape means that the girl is a woman, and that "Hungry wolves"/predators are out there and to be weary. Of course this song is from the point of view of the wolf...the man...who intends to "eat" her.
