I totally agree, i mean White Lies are one of the most promising bands ive heard in a while, with this song being one of their best. As for the meaning of the lyrics the first paragraph surely indicates the girl getting older, while the 3rd shows the guys love for her fading as time goes by. The "You're" and "We" in the 5th Paragraph, i think, shows the guy mentioned before is actually the person singing, and provides his opinion on their relationship and how its going to shreads. However, the last 3 paragraphs shows how they both feel about love, and how their same beliefs are the reason they should be together. I may be wrong as every persons interpretations are different, but this is just my take on the lyrics. Anyway, this is a great song! |
