I think these lyrics are actually really good, light hearted and fun. The last lines are very poignant as well "Take heed we'll be stampeding again Look out all of you fairweather friends Because elephants never forget" Is to me clearly about being stabbed in the back by people who only want to use you for one thing or another. The overall power of the lyrics about such widespread destruction against such an easy flowing song makes for a fantastic contrast in my opinion too. |
