I LOVE THIS SONG <3 It's my favorite along with You, Since your gone and Make me wanna die. Oh though it's about Taylor and the press and all the haters. It can also be about bullying. The chours and bridge explain that good. "Do You have a light? Can you make me feel alright? There's plenty of white to go around Do you think its right when you hit me to the ground? Well, light me up when I'm down" - So she just means that she asks them "Do you think it's right?" when they know it's not. And the whole "Light me up when i'm down" can be 2 things. One can be to help her. But for me, it can also be "Then, just finish me" as in burning her up(It fits more in my life. So I think like that) "Is what I'm taking seem to bother you? Well, that's okay Cause I can't take it all without you, and I'm okay Got it on my mind to change my ways But I don't think I can be anything other than me I don't think I can be anything other than me" -This really gets me. It may be smoking or drugs in her situation."Cause I can take it all without you, and i'm okay". But it can also be what she is going through. |

I'm not good with lyrics, but I think I will try. It is them being in a party were she was high and he drunk. So when they get in the car and about to leave, they end up sleeping with eachother. But thats kind of Obvious, right? Now when it comes to the chours sayin "Just tonight I will stay, and well throw it all away" may be the fact that they maybe had a friendship that would had been ruined, Or maybe she was a virgin and waisted it on someone she never cared about. "When the light, hits your eyes, it's telling me i'm right" Means the next morning, and she will be gone and know it's right to leave. "But just tonight I won't leave I'll lie and you'll believe Just tonight I will see It's all because of me" Now that made me think, that he thought this was "real" you know. As in the feelings, but it doesn't match up with the rest so it can't be. That's all I got in that song. But I love it <3 |
