I love this song just because you expect it to be a love song about some girl from the title and opening, but then he just comes in with 'my mom is my superhero' and it all fits :) |

Taking this in a non-religious context (not saying i don't see the religious aspect either) I think this song is just about how no one ever seems to say anything about the happy things that happen in life, spending all their time complaining. When bad things do come along, we should draw on our happy experiences to help us get through it, and 'wake up' and remember that things will get better, as well as the fact we're never alone (again linking to the religious aspect) |

I think this is just me, but to me the white blank page is the speaker's inability to express himself. He's feeling so angry yet the page on which he will explain himself is blank, he just can't put his feelings across accurately |

I thought the line was 'like a line where they both meet'
and i also thought it was 'eyes dark' rather than half dark, but maybe thats just me.
what it means i have no idea |

I think this song is fairly self explanitory, however it is done in such a way that it's meaning could be interpreted in many ways while keeping the same root meaning, something i f ind truly beautiful about her songwriting |

| KT Tunstall – Another Place To Fall Lyrics

I see this song in two different ways, one as more of a description than addressing someone, the chorus in particular. I think 'Find yourself another place to fall, find yourself up against another brick wall' is her friend or the subject of the song finding problems and places to set themselves back, but she can't see any problems at all. She's said all she can but the subject isn't paying any attention and continues to live in bleak depression.
Alternatively this song could be about her getting sick of the subject's constant misery and is telling them to find someone else to fall back on, despite the fact that no one else has been willing to listen to them ('nobody's choosing to follow') |

To me this song is about a relationship that has died, she's become cold and rigid. Despite knowing the relationship is sinking (due to the 'panic light' coming on), she's making excuses and clinging onto it. The only way to make her better is to let her go, but it would seem the feelings for her partner are still there, as she still wants them to love her, but they've just grown apart and aren't feeling the passion they used to |
