I think that is actually a brilliant allegory to the meaning of this song. It's creative to be that narrative. If this song enforces a meaning of breaking through society's expectations and find the core of being human, why should anyone deter that motive? Don't let your ego control you, that narration is simple beauty. By the way, you all have amazing taste in music. Have you heard Lateralus by Tool? |

I think at "With the (race/rise/rice?)over" he's saying "With the rains over". And I agree that it's iPhones. It seems to go with the song and the album. This is the same album that has living Decorations, no? It would seem as a compliment to it in a more hopeful feeling. It seems to be traveling the materialism ideals, as our society has been get-going to much to realize. One thing that separates my love for Maps and Atlases compared to other similar bands is the lyric intensity. Then again, I don't associate Maps and Atlases with other bands just because their sound is so unique but anyway good deciphering. Thanks! |
