For any of you who are Dr.Who fans, I think this is the perfect Matt Smith (The Eleventh Doctor) song. Everyone thought that he was gonna be crap, he wasn't gonna be able to fill Ten's (David Tennant) shoes and now look. He is a badass and everyone loves him! And he just seems like the type of person that will say "It goes In one ear and right out the other / People talkin' shit but you know it never bothers me"

This was one of the first songs that I heard that made me fall in love with Thrice. It's their adapatblity and their evolutionin music that makes them true artists. Dustin's vocals are incredible as he delivers screams that are meaningful and not just noise. And in my opinon, Riley is one of the best drummers I have ever heard. Loving that foot pedal at the end of this song. |

The lyrics are beautiful. Simply beautiful. Dustin's creativity and flow with words is like magic and it's unfortunate that people immediately point to religion when reading them. Can we just revel in the fact that this song shows plainly how frail and insignificant we are as human beings? And how man has dominated himself haughtily but has no right to do so. |
