Somehow Damien Rice has taken an icky message and turned it into a beautiful song. "I give my gun away when it's loaded" = I have sex with other people when I'm horny. "If you don't shoot it, how am I supposed to hold it?" = If you don't have enough sex with me, how am I supposed to resist having sex with other people? My cheating is your fault. "It's a small crime and I got no excuse" = What I did is not that bad, so I don't even need an excuse. "Is that alright" = Are you ok with this situation that you have created (by driving me to cheat)? |
