@[Myself248:34441] You so right! Why not just try continuing to fool us rather than actually do something constructive in this world (like as you said, cure cancer)? Because they couldn't oppress something if it has already been known to man. Curing illnesses will never happen as long as someone is profiting from them.

I too have always yearned for some connection with my parents, but that void always seems to persist despite my efforts.
BTW, I read and left a comment on your "About Me" section from your new blog site.

As a versus said in Madonna's song "Power of Goodbye"... "Freedom comes when your learn to let go, creation comes when you learn to say no."
The connotation of this verse resonates well me as I also yearn for the right people in life. However, the line from the poem "Ulysses" by Alfred, Lord Tennyson's that goes "To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." is what keeps me going.

I agree ajnegubimiseon. I'm yearning for that happiness that cannot be bought, only obtained through chance. In a world increasingly consumed by superficiality, I feel it's getting more difficult to find. |

Truly thought-provoking and connotative song.
My favorite phrase is "Freedom comes when you learn to let go
Creation comes when you learn to say no".
This exemplifies one's own true expression through one's own personality and individuality. You have to allow yourself to think on your own conscience and not everyone else's. It's hard to do as I have done so myself but you must believe in yourself in order to persevere. With that being said, I will leave you with a quote of mine...
"To achieve happiness, we must continuously reflect and evaluate on our thoughts and emotions in order to align them with our goals and desires, but most of all, our dreams for tomorrow." |

I completely agree. People have consumed themselves and plagued their minds with irrationalities and materialism so much that they have diminished their minds of positive behaviors and emotions that would otherwise come naturally. Self-contentment is the only resolution to this problem and is as likely as achieving "world peace". |

I completely agree as I feel I've experienced this. My family is so personality-deficient and doesn't appreciate other's personality or individuality (my own). I've overcame doubt my entire life and make more money than my parents ever imagined I could. I believe in the fundamental concept of self-improvement which has guided my own desires to develop my own personality. It's impossible to think how people inhibit themselves by attempting to oppress other's personality and individuality when that is what makes the world intriguing and interesting.

The language in the first verse is Sanskrit which is an ancient Indian language and the second verse is Latin.
Truly a thought-provoking song that manifests deep connotation in the mind. |
