| --Not that it's doomed; basically saying something so great and fun must fall because how of high it is. You can only rise so much before you fall. | |

I made mistakes when working on these lyrics. But I try... Like: 1.putting it into order (columns) 2."somewhere or not you seem far from my side" Maybe? 3."it says we are separate and nullified" Yes, nully is not a word. There for it must. I'm not sure, I just thought I'd give a side note. |

My initial interpretation of this song was it being about a relationship where as in both people are not willing to "give up" or "walk away" due to how much potential and possibility the relationship has, or possibly because the people love each other too much to. Possibly Chinatown being where the people met, or knew each other, or probably something else symbolic. However it sounds like the song might actually have more to it; I just can't decipher it. But my initial guess was the relationship and the not being able to leave it due to it's potential. |

The way I initially took this song was it being about a relationship and it's ups and downs. How it started beautifully and great, however took an opposite turn to many problems. Kind of a "honey moon syndrome" thing. Where the beginning of the relationship was(is) idealized and romanticized, but where as in now it faces a less than ideal situation. (However it is evident that the love is still there, only with problems where as in before there were not.) It's possible that it could be a lost relationship that was great at the beginning but went a bit problematic and is still thought about, or a current relationship that too went a similar route, or that which might just happen to the current relationship. OR it can just be a song about a love that is great and beautiful, however leads to the fact that it might die or that it is soon to fall due to it being on its "peak". Kind of a "right now is great but soon it'll probably end or lose it's spark." (Which I actually believe more now). |
