| It is the best analysis of a song I have ever heard. Brilliant. Just absolutely brilliant. Thank you. | |

The song is about a guy realizing that the woman he is spending "time" with is the one. He is almost in disbelief - like that happy, settled place is a big rumor. Almost as if he could believe in such a place but he never believed he'd get there. It's a great song because it demonstrates that phase where a man has just fallen for a woman, going against his natural self and just having a ball with his mate. It is heart-wrenching considering the reality - that over time, the chemicals that surge during this phase will settle down. It is like your time getting high on ecstacy. You don't quite believe that a pill can make you feel happy. So you say sure, try it, and then there you are. Feeling nothing but love for everyone and everything. It's not a rumor after all. You are right there...at least for a relatively short period of time. And you spend the rest of your life chasing that moment, that feeling - but it is a unique time. Everything after that could be objectively better but it is that one moment that is burned in your mind to be the best time. |

| Wow. First time hearing this song, forwarded to me from a guy I have an ambiguous relationship with. From your inputs, am I to interpret my guy is in love with me? | |
