Fake Problems – The Magazines Lyrics 13 years ago
Listing to this song, I get the feeling that “Magazines” is a metaphor for social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Since the song writer is obviously becoming more and more distant with the person he is signing to, he feels like all he knows about the person are “written in the magazines” aka Facebook/twitter postings. And that he doesn’t really know the person too well because of it “I don't know your weaknesses, I don't know your dreams”

Manchester Orchestra – April Fool Lyrics 14 years ago
I feel like the song describes the whole "Rock and Roll" lifestyle, the recklessness of drugs and alcohol, not caring what anybody thinks. Totally badass!!!

I don't know where I've been, what I've done
I am the once now irreplaceable son
I'm antichrist in your home
I'll come around this time to suck from my soul
And let me go

Manchester Orchestra – Mighty Lyrics 14 years ago
"It's not like I was lost for a purpose, I lost purpose and purposefully froze"

This line in the song really speaks to me. People spend the majority of their time looking for that purpose in life, at times it become very tedious and tiresome. For some of these people (myself included), we get stuck in a rut, believing that we will never find purpose or we never had purpose in life, and that terrifies us. So we purposely numb and freeze ourselves to overcome that fear.
