Black Kids – I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance with You Lyrics 13 years ago
Anyone else think that maybe the girl she's been dreaming of is cheating on her boyfriend? The whole "he don't suspect a thing; I wish he'd get a clue" makes think of that, or maybe he's just saying that the girl wishes the boyfriend'd get a clue about her liking the other girl. At the end of the song it seems the two girls are together, as well...

Regardless, I think most people have the right idea with this song.

Black Kids – Partie Traumatic Lyrics 13 years ago
This jungle is massive,
So please don't be so passive,
Be aggressive,
Impressive,
And they will get the message,
Yet your mother, he had it,
Boy runs it's automatic,
Yet it's magic, and tragic,
Oh it's partie traumatic, do it!

Is wrong. It should be:
This jungle is massive
So please don't be so passive
Be aggressive
Impress us
And they will get the message
Yes your father, he had it,
For us it's automatic

And that also goes for the second verse where it says "boy runs it's automatic"---> should be "for us it's automatic".

I guess because girls aren't normally portrayed as masturbating?

Honestly, I have no idea.

My Chemical Romance – It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Fucking Deathwish Lyrics 14 years ago
The beginning part "You get what everyone else gets- you get a lifetime" comes, most likely, from the graphic novel The Sandman. It is in the seventh compilation, Brief Lives (which I am holding right now), where a man who has lived for fifteen thousand years says to Death (personified as a perky, nurturing, goth woman) "I did well, didn't I? I lived 15,000 years. That's more than most people get." And she replies, "You get what everyone else gets. You get a lifetime. No more. No less."

Just thought some people might want to know that. It might help tie into some deeper meaning in the song. (also, if anyone else has mentioned it... sorry xP)

Blondie – Heart of Glass Lyrics 14 years ago
Yep, I agree. Also, that they didn't trust each other (mucho mistrust), and therefore, the relationship kind of fell apart.
