I think you're right: "He was the moon Painting you With it's glow so vulnerable and pale" Now, let's stick a coma in there: "He was the moon Painting you with it's glow, so vulnerable and pale" I think verses are sung by the narrator and chorus by this... 3rd person. Plus, "A prayer to a god who's deaf and blind", this 3rd person is praying and maybe making vudu to get him/ her "Three little words ["I love him/her"?], and a question, why?[why im still loving him/her, knowing nothing's to be done?]" Maybe its just my interpretation, because right now, I feel very much related to this song, though I think its accurate. |

| I love this song, how it sounds, bothe the song and the voice (its kinda magic), and some of the lyrics... just not all of them. If it just wasn't about Jesus... but form an unknown man's perspective, and more focused in whatever caused this melancholy (for the human spirit and the pain he sees) I think this would be a masterpiece. | |
