It is definitely about gathering the strength and positive outlook to get over a bad break up. I don't think 311 necessarry mean that nick ended the relationship. Its just in general the feeling of knowing it isn't going to work out but youve already got emotions towards them and you don't really want to start over. I think this is part of the lost in space thing Hexum does on this album. S.A. as laways does a great job of supporting the song idea while putting his spin and style on it. I'm pretty sure "I'm forever in existence, I'm forever ok" is a reference to 'It's getting ok now' from Dont tread on me. I def agree with deftool. Even though there are some drug related lyrics, this is def 311 expressing the natural high in life of being lost and connecting with others. |

I believe this is song is about getting lost searching for things your not sure are there. However it changes into a fun is in the hunt type messege, pointing out all the possible stange adventures one can have while searching for the unknown or being lost. I think the last part is also playing of the lost in space type feeling that goes throughout the album and specially this song, saying it well be alrite cos it really doesnt even matter id you come back. Nothin to lose. |
