I was really hoping to find more here, but then again, this is Coil...what can we expect? No idea about St. Peter's disease. In regards to the keys, St. Peter is traditionally known as the keeper of the keys to heaven. Peter = Petra, that is, the "rock" upon which Christianity is built. One could make an argument that religion is the disease. Serenity is the problem. Hmm... well, Johnn Balance was well known as an alcoholic, and the so-called "recovering" alkies in AA put alot of faith in serenity. From my own experience, the AA brand of spirituality is very Christian-oriented and not compatible with genuine occult practices and philosophy (which is a big part of what Coil is all about.) So maybe there is another connection. |
