Ke$ha – Blow Lyrics 14 years ago
This song is extremely deep when you think about it like this.

This music video is about humanity and an alternate civilization or "race" warning Earth. Maybe I'm way off but I'm gonna keep thinking this. Look at the lyrics.
"Drink that Kool-Aid/follow my lead/Now you're one of us/You're coming with me.
Doesn't that sound like some sort of initiation? (Note: Don't think I'm talking about Illuminati, because that's bullsh*t.)
"It's time to kill the lights and shut the DJ down." I believe that means that this group of people is telling humanity to either quiet down or escape. Because if we don't escape: "Tonight, WE'RE taking over/No one's getting out/This place about to blow, blow x 4." It could also mean that humanity is set for self-destruct the way we're running things. Any minute, this world will fall apart because of us.
"Now what? We're taking control...We're pretty + sick/We're young + we're bored."
"Young and bored" is an extremely important line because Kesha is referring to the idiocy of teenagers today and how they're not gonna get anywhere. In fact, they just might BLOW us all up. Look at the almost pointless music video and think about how stupid she sounds at the beginning: it's pointless babbling just look most of the things we say today. The music video is one major farce.

At the same time, this video could mean the exact opposite, though. The idiots could be the repressed animals. In the beginning of the music video when Kesha was talking about how she became a member of Parliament, she was making fun of politicians and how corrupt and politically awful the world is. Why is why we need to just kick back and "Go insane/throw some glitter/make it rain."

I love Ke$ha. And whether or not the song was that complex or not, I think any party song is a good party song. There's never a wrong time to be cheered up by a good music hook.
