I think this song is brilliant. To me, its about an over relationship that they're both questioning rekindling(You and I might not be the best thing,You and I might just be the best thing ) , but the guy is saying how he still wants her. The girl won't fully admit she wants him back, but the guy is saying if she offers, he might seriously consider it cause he still needs her..
