Seabear – Arms Lyrics 14 years ago
I think these are the right lyrics:

You left your black gloves on my table
You left your dark horse in my stable
Thinking of a way, to get you to stay
And I promise to fight the wind and wait for you...
...are an owl, with tired eyes
I am a scarecrow in disguise

We often go out pacing
When all I want to do is stay inside and lookout the window...
...with you

There was a dead mouse in your arms
That was the moment that you lost your charm
An old bear paw, sitting in a jar
Under a tree that never grew any leaves

You shake my arms, you shake my hand
I fell asleep in your cobweb
And I'm turning off all the lights tonight
Saw you in a crowded bar, pale with hungry eyes

If you listen to the song more carefully, maybe you'll find out that these lyrics fit...
all Seabear's songs are awesome! sindri writes so wonderfully odd :) ..in my mind so many cool pictures and scenes appear when i listen to them :D

Bright Eyes – Ladder Song Lyrics 14 years ago
Hi everyone :) In this part of the song : I feel estranged every now and then
Fall asleep reading science fiction
I want to fly in your silver ship
Let Jesus hang and Buddha sit

The way I see it, is like if Conor is trying to imagine how is it like to die or imagining where people go when they die by reading science fiction, or maybe he was just trying to feel better by thinking about a wonderful fantasy world or place where he knows things would be great without having to live with the bad stuff there is in this real world,a place where you have good hopes, you know...something like a sanctuary maybe; I think it could mean something like that because when i'm reading a good fiction book i alwsys like to think about the awesome life you could have in these amazing magical places, its nice to get into the stories so I thought that others could feel the same when they're reading, too. Also, I think that it isn't that Conor doesnt care for Jesus or Buddha, maybe is just that he is trying to point out that we all have different believes, and since there are many religions, everyone has a different perspective on how death is gonna be like. well, thats what i think, have an awesome day :D
