i think this song is about the death of a child. i know that's morbid but the lyrics make sense and it has a sweet innocent sound to it. vertical horizon plays the most eloquent songs. they rule!

this is a pretty moving song. he's angry about how he feels. but he's lost in all the advice everyone is giving him. "Don't follow your heart cause it just seems to get in your way" - that is one of the best lines i've ever heard in a song before. |

i like the american pie edit better. but this song is incredible. i can totally relate it to my life. it's about someone who gets the meaning of their life from other peole. the song is kind of sad but ultimately hopeful. i think it says that their are still good people in this world that we can strive to be like. |
