| Lionel Richie – Three Times A Lady Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This song is filthy - namely, it's about the different ways Lionel has enjoyed sex with the lady in question - oral, vaginal and anal. Pretty obvious really. | |
| Morrissey – Speedway Lyrics | 14 years ago |

The song is written from the viewpoint of Andy Coulson, and deals with the feelings of rejection he has towards David Cameron. "And all those lies Written lies, twisted lies Well, they weren't lies They weren't lies They weren't lies I never said I never said I could have mentioned your name I could have dragged you in Guilt by implication By association ." etc. etc. obvious really. The fact that it was written 15 years before the Coulson v Cameron situation just shows Morrissey's prescience. |

| Morrissey – Lifeguard Sleeping, Girl Drowning Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Davidbeauy's interpretation is awful. Pretentious ("Sal Mineo esque"? Jesus) yet too stupid to real;ise it's a metaphor - he actually thinks it's about a girl drowning!? Here's my interpretation - a woman in a loveless marriage attempts suicide as a 'cry for help' but her husband doesn't notice. She dies. Think of those loveless marriages from the 50s when divorce was not an option. The wife is left to her own devices in the house all day until the man comes home from work. And when she finds that he's stopped speaking to her ("Doesn't she know he's had such a busy day?")she comes up with a plan to grab his attention once and for all. Except it doesn't work. Maybe he's late home from the office. Maybe he's doing some additional 'hours' with his secretary. Not that it matters much. She was nobody's nothing. |
