Its not hard, guess what? Its aboutweed again, what does he do other than smoke....but he uses symbolic references of weed as a "lady" and him as a "werewolf"...dendendency theory: Kid Cudi=Weed(the victim he devours) is like Werewolf=a young innocent girl(the victim he devours...come alive a t night, he comes out at night, parties are at night, his concerts are at night, he is basically out at night(when the moon shines), .....to people that smoke weed they usually want pure weed without seeds, he was a "pure" "lady"...he gets the scent....during parties and concerts people smoke, he smells weed he wants to smoke. Wereworf, hes a beast that only comes out at night,....like a werewolf, he becomes this huge smoker/weedheadd at night, although im guessing he smokes in the morning afternoon too... |

He's says nah its not bad at all, being trapped in you mind isn't that bad,...."its a gift and a curse" Curse+He's trapped in a prison, he cant just LEAVE the state Gift=He likes being high, in that calm prison......He says in comparison to all the crazy shit that goes on in the world, somebody that has a weed addiction is light, he's like theirs MURDERS, child molestors, all crazy stuff in hte world, im just addicted to weed. lol.

This song sounds like Kid Cudi talking to the people who commment about maybe his overuse of marijuana. this whole album basically talks about how he is on marijuana, and how it makes him feel, puts him in situations(makes him a "maniac" to some, how the situations he's in, seems similiar to something else. This song is a sober Cudi tellin the people who are judgin him, uh...maybe you shouldnt not worry about him,.....This was made before he ultimately decided it probably would be better for him to actually really stop. "No lie somedays are better days, walking thru my mind, my heart will melt away" He has bad and good days, but when thier bad he smokes, and it brings him into a state where he's "walking thru his own mind(tripping), my hear will melt away says it makes his problems go away. He says the state makes him smarter, than you and quickier actually. And that those judging him are actually just projecting their evils on him,....he admits im a maniac,..okay im a maniac...damn. His songs are kinda deep,...idk. |

This was my breakup song for some reason. Maybe because was listening to it at the time, but it just related. Lyrically not so much, but if i tried i might say that i felt Kid Cudi "Mr. RAger at the time. The first part, "Im on my way to heaven,.....you wanna be one of them(happy and i wasnt), you never see them too long on the ground(i was hurt and down "on the ground"). I was like leaving the relationship, " it was like i was shot down", it hurt that i got broken up with. It felt like i knocked down round for round" It was a blow for me, "when will the fantasy end, when will the heaven begin?" I was like that hold relationship wasnt real for her, and i was the one wanting it more as the dust settle, i wanted the "heaven to begin".....Its just a sad song and complimented me at the time, thanks Cudi, good song. I listenedto it about hundred times back to back after my breakup.....only cudi could relate. |
