Most of the translations that I saw said "you make me this" instead of "you make me dance." I also assumed that she was saying dance, but the accent is so strange to my ears that it's hard anything other than "this." Sometimes I hear dance, but for the most part I hear "this." |

Sexy, fascinating, and evil: that's what entered my mind when I first heard this. Really delicious music here. My interpretation is that, using the music as his medium, he is controlling people and manipulating them. |

I think this is about the singer, and it alludes to multiple personality disorder. "I have become someone else." After she calls him a loser, he changes and becomes someone else. "And I beat him in the skull and took him down" He says that he grabs his shovel, so then he beats his "loser" self, afterwards hogtying him down so that his loser self won't come back. Of course, he continues on to destroy loser-self with a chainsaw, too.
Well, that's what I originally thought. It doesn't make much sense if the lady's voice is talking about grabbing a shovel. So apparently this song is about both a bar fight and a lady who killed a guy. (According to previous commenters.) |

The sadness of the song makes me feel that it is about death.
I can't help but think, every time I hear it, that she lost someone close to her, and they live on forever in her memories. |

| Imperative Reaction – Giving Into The Change Lyrics

He didn't appreciate his friend until his friend died. Now that he reflects on it and writes a song about it, he begins to realize how much he meant to him. He has been "wasting so much time" waiting for his friend to see how little he appreciated things, too. His friend promised something he couldn't keep because fate came along--now he's dead.
Perhaps his friend took too long to complete his promise, and because he waited, and waited, and waited he died. |

| Imperative Reaction – Only In My Mind Lyrics

Someone is lying, and he thinks he can see right through them. The lies that s/he told were something that he depended on to make himself happy, but he soon realized that they only existed in his mind.
Even though something isn't true, we won't know until there is evidence to support that it is a lie. This song, ultimately, is about our world being a giant virtual reality. How can you prove something is real? It only really exists in your mind. |

I have a really tough time interpreting this, but I can probably say this is about an angel... or rather, a demon in disguise.
Poison mercury dreams--pretty heavy, negative imagery. Same goes for the vine bleeds divine screams. I think that this is either a demon in disguise of an angel, or that angels actually ARE demons. |

| I:scintilla – "Cursive Eve" Lyrics

A false comfort of thin paper: The Bible really is a comfort. The reason we cherish it so much is because it reassures us about our existence--where we came from, why we're here, and where we'll go when we die. God is our "father." We view him like a parent, and we are his "children."
Cannot be a good person without guilt? You must feel guilt for your natural sin, or else you have no conscience and you are a godless monster.
Eat the pretty cursive lie: the Bible is a lie, but it makes you feel good. The Bible in itself is a "sinful" thing. She also questions why we must live in sorrow. The Bible doesn't just make us feel good--it guilts us. It makes us doubt ourselves. We worry and worry about whether we're going to heaven or hell instead of just living and enjoying life.
This song is undeniably about the Bible. |

Without emotions, we are just machines. Our body is very similar to a machine... it's wired to take in fuel so that it can function. It is a self-regulating machine. |
