He was always there. Always. "I will never forsake you or leave you alone." God doesn't break his promises. He puts us through hard times and tough trials sometimes because He is testing our faith, trust me I know all about it. I went through a period my sophomore year of high school where all I did was rebel. I was out of control and I drifted so far from God just because I felt like he didn't have what I thought I needed. A lot went on during that time that caused me to drift... I felt like He didn't care. But, I realized that even when things seem as bad as they can be, it will always get better in the long haul. He will be waiting at the other end. "I will praise You in this storm, and I will lift my hands. You are who You are, no matter where I am. Every tear I cry, You hold in Your hands. You never left my side, and though my heart is torn, I will praise You in this storm." ~Praise You In This Storm, by Casting Crowns. Amazing song, you should listen to it. Don't give up faith in God; He hasn't given up on you. |

| Humor me, where did you get the idea of homosexuality? Kracker isn't gay, and he definitely isn't singing this song to a man. | |

clearly it's about an affair. "I'm not worried 'bout the ring you wear Cause as long as no one knows Then nobody can care You're fellin' guilty And I'm well aware But you don't look ashamed And baby I'm not scared" he's trying to comfort her in cheating on her husband with him. i don't see how it could be any more obvious. i've been that girl that wants the guy to cheat... i've said the same things. heroin isnt involved. AT ALL. "swim through your veins.." simply just relates to totally giving yourself to someone else, so that you are like one being and you have totally surrendered all of the doubts of a cheating relationship. |

Regardless of whether or not this particular song is Christian or not, it's absurd to say that Christian bands can't write non-Christian music. Two words: Say Goodbye. There's no way in this world that that song is Christian! It's about a relationship. "Do you remember In December How we swore we'd never change Even though you're leaving That our feelings Would always stay the same I wish we could be laughing Instead I'm standing here asking Do we have to end this now Can we make it last somehow We both know what we've gotta say, not today Cause I don't wanna leave this way" It's one of my favorite songs they've ever written. There are many others that prove the point.. That one just makes the most sense to me to back the argument. I love Skillet (: |

| Love your remark about "tears are filling up their glasses." I never would've thought that to mean that their sadness was driving them to drink. Awesome job interpreting! | |
