Maybe that is the point, he is singing " I think I should speak now... I can't seem to speak now" He is trying to express feelings, he feels he have to say something because he do not know how things will look like further on. And then him again, asking (or maybe it is suppose to be another person when the choir is singing) "why wont you talk to me?, what are you feeling?" etc.He is trying to get something out of the other person, trying to break the silence that can be so suffecating
When I hear the song it reminds me when I feel I really have to write something (I write poetry) but I can't, and get frustrated and don't what to do really. Like writer's block, or when you get tounge-tied. |

Maybe the whispering "careful with that axe Eugene" is a voice inside the killers head, but Eugene decides not to listen. Or maybe he just carefully swung the axe into the victims back! |
