I think you're absolutley right, the song is clearly about a long distance relationship that is at the point of ending or not. I was in a long distance relationship for 5 years and was feeling exactly like this before it ended. Issac said himself that this song was written at the time of when his girlfriend was deciding to move from home to be with him or not. sarahrelli- I think when the lyrics "Trying not to lose your own, boxing up everything, you've got All you ever knew of home, you're scared scared to see Your mother there in the door, you wonder where did the years go" refers to her leaving the life she knows behind and her family. |
