This song always sounded to me like a suicide letter to his fans and loved ones. It always felt like a suicide letter to me. It just sound like someone remembering their youth, and now that they don't feel the urge anyome, they give their life away. Party piece is something everyone is entitled in a party, which, for the rest of the song seems to be his life, and he's ready to give up it. It sounds like a goodbye, certainly when he said "screaming like this in the hole of sincerity"... And certainly when he says "how the end always is". The only thing that is always the end is death. And also because he stated he was thinking ab out suicide and was depressed about turning 30. The same deep water as you seem to go very well with this song too. |

The dirty hole is the hole in a hanging knot. Hear the men chanting with chains? They are reminiscent of death row inmates condemned to death by hanging... (remember pirates of the caribbean, the scene with the damned in chains singing?) The sacred and dirty is because death is both sacred and holy for our culture, as respect of the dead is expected, but dealing with them is a dirty job, etc... |

for me is an allusion to casual sex using gang behavior as an example.
