Okay. Since none of you are telling what your opinion is about the song, and what you think it's about, i think i will add my opinion. So-I think this song is about Adultery. Hint-in the dress your husband hates, they found us drinking by the mausoleam door, I miss you, I miss you so far, and the collision of your kiss that made it so hard.-The girl had to leave him, that's why it was so hard. The girl becomes suicidal. -Back home, off the run. Singing songs that make you slit your wrist, now isn't that much fun? Staring down a loaded gun....Saying she wants to kill herself. "I won't stop lying, won't stop dying, but if you want I'll keep on crying" Says the girl, meaning-she doesn't want to stop seeing him, but it's going to hurt her so much because she's cheating on her husband. Finally the girl kills herself, and goes to hell "and they found you on the bathroom floor." She goes to Hell. "Way down". It all plays backward. Telling the story of the girl after the first verse, then coming back to dying at the end when he says "way down." Anyone else have something different?? :). |
